Overview
Non-stop Business Continuity for Mission Critical Applications
24-port GbE L2+ Switch with 10GbE Uplink
XGS3700-24 is an advanced Layer 2 Plus (Layer 3 Lite) Gigabit managed switches perfect for data center access, SMB core/aggregation. It consists of 24-port configurations and 10Gb uplink options. XGS3700-24 is designed with an advanced feature set with static routing, policy-based routing (PBR), VRRP and ECMP support. The high redundancy hardware architecture includes dual, internal power supplies and hot-swappable fan and power modules.
Features
Avoiding network errors with easy management
XGS3700-24 is equipped with advanced management features to make the network stable and secure: loop protection that prevents network flooding, dual images to provide a backup FW if one crashes and storm control to ensure network efficiency, friendly on/off DoS with simple click to enable/disable instead of several setup pages, while SSL ensures the management frames are well encrypted when the device is accessed. XGS3700-24 provides network error prevention features and integrated network security for reduced risk and improved data streaming.
High level network and access security Resiliency and availability for non-stop business continuity
XGS3700-24 features a no single point of failure (NSPOF) hardware and software design to provide the resiliency needed for non-stop business continuity. Its high redundancy hardware architecture includes dual, internal power supplies—which not only ensures 100% uptime in the event of a power supply failure, but also saves rack space compared to external power supplies. Additionally, both the fan module and the power supply modules are hot-swappable to enable zero downtime troubleshooting.
In terms of software features, XGS3700-24 supports Equal Cost Multipath Routing (ECMP) and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) for increased network availability and reliability. The physical stacking feature of the XGS3700 Series facilitates management for multiple switches with one single interface. The cross-stack LACP technology allows traffics to be carried over to other links when a LACP link fails to provide high redundancy. The stacking ring technology allows no interruption to data forwarding if any stack switch fails to ensure resiliency.
Future-proof connectivity for evolving networks
XGS3700-24 helps businesses and organizations stay ahead and get ready for future IPv6 networks. It supports dual stack (IPv4 and IPv6) and IPv6 host that allows businesses and organizations to deploy the GS2210 switch at the network edge today, and easily migrate to the next-generation Internet Protocol in the future. With support for IPv6 ACL packet filtering, a L2 Gigabit switch can create secured IPv6 networks that are protected from illegal IPv6 clients. XGS3700-24 is designed with a comprehensive set of IPv6 management features that include ICMPv6, neighbor discovery and DHCPv6 relay, which facilitate the migration to next-generation networking applications without an extensive equipment upgrade.
Deployment flexibility and investment protection
With 24-port and 10GbE uplink configurations, ZyXEL XGS3700-24 provides the flexibility to be deployed in all sorts of deployments including data center access, SMB core/aggregation. XGS3700-24 provides added routing flexibility with support for static routing and policy-based routing (PBR); and its full and consistent GUI, CLI and MIB ensures simplified management and consistent configurations.
Investment protection is guaranteed with Zyxel XGS3700-24. Its high port density and high power budget design leaves room for future deployment expansion and eliminates the need to purchase additional equipment. The four (4) 10GbE ports on XGS3700-24 facilitates easy transition to 10GbE networking in data center and enterprise networks, while full IPv6 support ensures that your network is ready for the future.
Deployment
Integrated with Zyxel wireless access points, XGS3700-24, a L2+ switch, introduces an advanced solution recommended for offices, hypermarkets, hotels, schools, and sales spots to manage workplaces properly and increase business efficiency.
